No es queFeedBurner haya echado la persiana y esté cerrado habiéndonos dejado más colgados que un murciélago. Algún rumor hay sobre ello pero conla lectura del aviso que creo que ha generado todo, parece que queda claro que lo que dejará es de dar servicio a su API el 20 de Octubre, teniéndonos avisados desde del 26 de Mayo.
Tampoco es que se hayan perdido los datos. Al menos todos aunque esto no tranquilice. Sólo hay queentrar en nuestra cuenta, descubrir -con horror- que todas nuestras fuentes gestionadas con este servicio están también a cero, entrar en Publicize ►Email Subscriptions y por último descubrir gozosamente que abajo aparece un bonito número con la cantidad de suscriptores. Incluso podéis desplegar el enlace para ver los detalles y descargar un fichero CSV dónde os aparecen relacionados.
Sí que pueden ser menos de los que tenemos realmente, pero ya estamos seguros de que datos hay y también existe alguna incongruencia entre unos y otros. De aquí ya podemos inferir que algún fallo hay pero que probablemente no sea un desastre.
Otra prueba de que lo importante funciona es que se siguen recibiendo las actualizaciones de tu blog en el correo de los destinatarios habituales. Suscríbete a tu propio feed y tan pronto publiques algún artículo nuevo, recibirás el correo pertinente.
Por último, la prueba definitiva es queFeedBurner Status publicó una nota al respecto el pasado 21 de Septiembre, aproximadamente dos días después de que comenzaran los problemas.
Estamos teniendo problemas con nuestras fuentes de generación de representaciones estadísticas los días 19 y 20 de Septiembre de 2012. Actualmente estamos trabajando en solucionar esta incidencia.
Quizás tenía que haber empezado por esto último, pero es que entonces se me quedaba un post muy corto y ya que me había molestado en investigar, pues quería dejar constancia del esfuerzo :)
