Coincidió en el tiempo con los que tuvo Go Daddy con sus servidores.Millones de sitios se vieron afectados.
Inicialmente se informó de que todo se debía aun ataque de un miembro de Anonymous, aunque posteriormente el servidor de dominios desmintió este dato.
La indisponibilidad del servicio no fue causada por agentes externos. No hemos sufrido ninguna especie de hack ni tampoco un ataque DDoS. Hemos determinado que la caída del servicio fue provocada por una serie de errores en nuestra red interna que corrompieron las tablas de encaminamiento de nuestros routers. Una vez identificamos el problema, aplicamos soluciones para corregirlo y restablecer el servicio de los clientes.
Pero sea como fuere, muchos usuarios de Blogger siguen comunicando problemas y de hecho Google ha insertado un mensaje en el apartadoBásico de la secciónConfiguración de su Escritorio avisando de que están desactivados los cambios de dominios.
El mismodía 9 Blogger ya anunció el problema en Known Issues for Blogger, explicando sólo que desactivaba esta opción, que estaban investigando el problema y que darían más detalles en breve.
Pero eldía 12 simplemente se puso un texto similar y de momento nunca más se supo.
Mal de mucho consuelo de tontos, pero en este foro de productos de Google hay ya más de 500 posts: ¿Por qué no funciona mi dominio personalizado?!!
Así que si estabas pensando en cambiar de dominio no te queda otra que esperar. Y si justo lo hiciste por esas fechas, no te queda otra que... rezar.
