Cinta realista con CSS – Automovil – School

En esta ocasión vamos a ver la forma de hacer con CSS una especie de banderín para un rótulo, pero añadiendo efectos de degradados y algunas sombras con el fin de que el resultado tenga algo más de realismo queotras que construimos anteriormente.

Como no podía ser de otra manera, vamos a usar:after y:before para poder ir añadiéndole cosas y así conseguir los detalles que nos ofrecerán el resultado que veis a la derecha.


El HTML sería este: una clase para el cuerpo principal, otra para la barra y un contenedor de todo el conjunto.

Comenzamos por formar el cuerpo principal con las medidas deseadas y un degradado con varios puntos de cambio que darán la sensación de que la cinta está algo ondulada.

Para esto último me vino bien tener a manoUltimate CSS Gradient Generator, utilidad que además nos permite incorporar compatibilidad para casi todos los navegadores. Aquí por no ser muy extenso sólo incluí el estándar, pero en el fuente podéis ver que usé más prefijos para la demo del final.

Para añadir la capa correspondiente a la parte inferior, usamos:before y damos estilo para generar cuatro triángulos juntos, tres opacos y uno transparente. Esto se explicó con más detalle en un post anterior sobrecómo hacer triángulos CSS. Ahora sólo hacemos transparente el inferior y los demás serán del color del extremo de la caja principal.

Como veis, contop lo desplazamos bajo su contenedor padre (cintaver) tanto como mida el alto de este. El ancho de los bordes que generan los triángulos será la mitad del ancho total que necesitamos.

Ahora con un:after y posicionando absolutamente, añadimos otra parte más que es la quepinta los pespuntes laterales y el texto. En elcontent irá el texto que queremos mostrar y las puntadas de hilo los simulamos con bordes discontinuos a derecha e izquierda (dashed).

La altura total de estos elementos será la suma de la caja principal y la del extremo (los triángulos añadidos con:before). El ancho será un poco menor para que estos elementos queden dentro de la cinta y no lleguen a los bordes, desplazándolos con un pequeñoleft para situarlos centrados.

Ya casi estamos. Lo que hacemos ahora es dar propiedades al contenedor general con el ancho y alto del conjunto, centrando e incorporando un margen inferior para salvar el tamaño de la punta de la cinta que sacamos del flujo normal.

Y a continuación una sombra que arranque tras la barra que pondremos al final y que una vez más añadimos con:before. Si no ponemos barra habrá que corregir eltop y la altura para que ocupen todo el alto.

Ahora sí. Creamos una barra con una caja simple con bordes redondeados y un degradado. Elposition:absolute; nos sirve para colocarlo exactamente dónde queremos.

Oloblogger Blog favorito del mes – Free – Domains – Law Firm

No todos los días nos dan una noticia que nos alegra el día. Bueno, realmente son escasos esos momentos y quizás por ello pienso que hay que disfrutarlos al máximo cuando los tienes. Eso es lo que estoy haciendo todo el dia y ahora mismo redactando esto.

Hoy he tenido una charla conJavier Iglesias, Consumer Operations de Google y más en cristiano como reza su perfil,Guía de Google para Blogger en español, vía correo y posteriormente en un hangout.

El motivo ha sido que tras una preselección de entre 4.000 aspirantes en la que finalmente quedamos cuatro, este blog ha sido elegido por votación popular comofavorito del mes de Septiembre. Y para más honra, compitiendo con otros blogs tan buenos o más que este como sonMeridianos,Cariño Malo oReturn.

No hay premio en metálico y ni siquiera una medallita para colgar en la barra lateral, pero ¡qué narices! siempre agrada que te den una palmadita en la espalda, así que por unas horas voy a disfrutar de ella, que ya hay normalmente otras cosas a nuestro alrededor que intentan impedírtelo.


La parte negativa del asunto es que aunque no hay un contrato que lo estipule, recibir este galardónte obliga a conceder una entrevista y un servidor ha tenido que cumplir con el requisito a pesar de no ser nada amigo de estas historias.

Su configuración en cuanto a aspecto tiene sólo dos opciones, lista y nube, pero ambos pueden ser personalizados para integrarlos con la estética de nuestro sitio. Para mi gusto el segundo es bastante más atractivo y lo que veremos a continuación son sólo un par de ejemplos distintos para modificarlo.

El primero sigue un estilo clásico y sencillo, tanto como el código necesario para cambiarlo, porque simplemente eliminaremos el justificado que lleva por defecto y centraremos las etiquetas, todo con la idea de que el conjunto parezca más unanube. Además le daremos un poco de colorido.

El gadget genera distintas etiquetas con el formato.label-sizeX, siendo X un número del 1 al 5, de manera que las etiquetas que más se utilizan llevan un 5 y las que menos un 1, pasando por 2, 3 y 4 para los valores intermedios.

Aprovechando esto podemos realzar con colores y tamaños de fuente distintos cada una de las etiquetas según su densidad.

Como no podía ser de otra manera, estos valores los podéis cambiar al gusto, pero también se pueden añadir otras pequeñas variaciones como por ejemplo un alto de línea (line-height) escaso para solapar un poco el texto de las etiquetas, una tipografía distinta (font-family) o un color de fondo para elhover.

La otra versión es más románica aunque le he añadido un pequeño redondeado y efecto para elhover que lo vuelve algo gótico. Para un estilo más sobrio mejor quitar al menos elborder-radius.

Se trata en este caso de enmarcar las etiquetas en cajas rectangulares y disponerlas una al lado de la otra. El efecto para el hover es el que requiere más código porque haremos una especie de zoom con ellas. Prescindible o modificable, como siempre.

No es queFeedBurner haya echado la persiana y esté cerrado habiéndonos dejado más colgados que un murciélago. Algún rumor hay sobre ello pero conla lectura del aviso que creo que ha generado todo, parece que queda claro que lo que dejará es de dar servicio a su API el 20 de Octubre, teniéndonos avisados desde del 26 de Mayo.

Tampoco es que se hayan perdido los datos. Al menos todos aunque esto no tranquilice. Sólo hay queentrar en nuestra cuenta, descubrir -con horror- que todas nuestras fuentes gestionadas con este servicio están también a cero, entrar en Publicize ►Email Subscriptions y por último descubrir gozosamente que abajo aparece un bonito número con la cantidad de suscriptores. Incluso podéis desplegar el enlace para ver los detalles y descargar un fichero CSV dónde os aparecen relacionados.

Sí que pueden ser menos de los que tenemos realmente, pero ya estamos seguros de que datos hay y también existe alguna incongruencia entre unos y otros. De aquí ya podemos inferir que algún fallo hay pero que probablemente no sea un desastre.

Otra prueba de que lo importante funciona es que se siguen recibiendo las actualizaciones de tu blog en el correo de los destinatarios habituales. Suscríbete a tu propio feed y tan pronto publiques algún artículo nuevo, recibirás el correo pertinente.

Por último, la prueba definitiva es queFeedBurner Status publicó una nota al respecto el pasado 21 de Septiembre, aproximadamente dos días después de que comenzaran los problemas.

Estamos teniendo problemas con nuestras fuentes de generación de representaciones estadísticas los días 19 y 20 de Septiembre de 2012. Actualmente estamos trabajando en solucionar esta incidencia.

Quizás tenía que haber empezado por esto último, pero es que entonces se me quedaba un post muy corto y ya que me había molestado en investigar, pues quería dejar constancia del esfuerzo :)
