Triángulos CSS – Hosting – Forex

Este es un sistema muy básico para conseguir generar un triángulo. Todo se basa en el particular comportamiento de los bordes en CSS, que se muestran aunque su contenido sea nulo o dicho de otra forma, de tamaño cero.

Comenzamos viendo que los bordes se añaden por defecto al tamaño de la caja que rodean y que su color puede ser individualizado. Para ello, las propiedades de color, estilo y ancho las definimos por separado. El orden de los valores de cada propiedad es el habitual, esto es, arriba, derecha, abajo e izquierda.

Esta caja tiene 400px de ancho, pero con los dos bordes de 10px ocupa un total de 420px. Con el alto ocurre lo mismo y por eso tiene en total 100px.

Y ahora observad lo que ocurre cuando el ancho y alto de la caja lo hacemos igual a cero. Bueno, antes de nada añadimos undisplay:block; porque de lo contrario lo que veríamos sería nada:

Pues eso es. Vemos sólo los bordes y cada uno tienen un ancho de 10px que es lo que antes indicamos. Fijaos que al igual que pasaba anteriormente cuando había un tamaño para la caja, los bordes forman un bisel en la zona dónde se cruzan. Ese corte sirve para obtener cuatro triángulos, en este caso cada uno de un color distinto.

Para hacer triángulos de mayor tamaño sólo tenemos que aumentar el ancho del borde:

Y entendido esto ahora viene la parte más fácil, extraer un triángulo u otras formas a partir de ese cuadrado formado por cuatro triángulos. Si algún color se repite u otros se hacen transparentes, obtendremos diferentes formas. Por ejemplo, esto es lo que se vería si arriba y abajo damos color negro y los otros dos los hacemos transparentes:

¿Y si sólo damos color a la parte izquierda?

La manera de añadir estos triángulos a cualquier otra forma es relativamente fácil. En el siguiente ejemplo creamos una caja (rectangular) con un texto y a continuación un triángulo. Este último por el flujo normal del código, se situaría en la línea siguiente por debajo del rectángulo.

Para colocarlo dónde queremos le añadimos unposition:relative a la caja principal para podermover luego el triángulo a dónde nos interese con unposition:relative,top yleft. El punto de origen con esta combinación (absolute dentro derelative) será la esquina superior izquierda del rectángulo.

También le podemos añadir adicionalmente a la izquierda un segundo triángulo del mismo color que el fondo para conseguir una terminación distinta.

De esta manera podemos combinar triángulos apuntando hacia arriba, hacia la derecha, etc., pero también en diagonal haciendo opacos o transparentes dos contiguos como hicimos con la figura negra a la que le pusimos la clase.t4.

O usar la mitad de esos si ocultamos parte tras la capa principal como hicimos con lasbandas decorativas. En esa entrada también podéis ver cómo agregar formas con:after y:before.

Con otras combinaciones y añadiendo otras propiedades CSS (aquí conborder-radius) podemos hacer otras cositas; pero esa es otra historia...

Para terminar, también podemos hacer triángulos no equiláteros individualizando el ancho del borde, aunque si al menos no los hacemos iguales dos a dos, los resultados serán algo complicados de imaginar previamente.

Añadir elementos con :after y :before. Bandas decorativas – Forex – Rooms – World

Desde que inventaron:before y:after, mi vida (y la de muchos otros) es mucho más fácil, hablando en sentido figurado claro.

Y lo es por una de las posibilidades más explotadas de estos pseudoelementos, que no es otra que la de poder crear elementos complejos añadiendo cosas delante y detrás a una capa simple.

Lo de delante y detrás es también un decir, porque aunque en un principio estos son sus destinos naturales, la combinación conposition hace posible que podamos situar esos elementos añadidos en cualquier parte.

Ahora veremos un ejemplo en el que crearemos una caja con forma de banda plegada por sus dos extremos para mostrar un rótulo en ella. Para los extremos usaremos el truco de la construcción de triángulos con bordes muy grandes de ancho y alto cero, parcialmente transparentes y como no,:before y:after.


Para la parte HTML usaremos esta estructura, que nos permitirá manejar de manera independiente la parte de texto gracias alspan insertado. También podremos añadir dos cosas a la clase principal (.cinta) y otras dos a la subclase (.cinta span) para obtener el efecto de la imagen del principio.

El resto ya es todo CSS. En primer lugar definimos la clasecinta con un tamaño determinado y un color de fondo al que -sólo por estética- se le ha añadido un degradado y unas rayitas. Esto sería el rectángulo principal y elposition nos servirá para poder luego mover dónde nos convenga el resto de elementos:

Ahora viene la parte izquierda. Añadimos a.cinta un cuadrado hecho con bordes al que le quitamos con untransparent el triángulo izquierdo.

Pero como veis, falta un detallito para conseguir el efecto deseado y ese no es otro que lo que se supone que es el pliegue de la banda. Como ya hemos añadido un elemento con:before, este otro lo añadimos con:after. Sería sólo un rectángulo hecho con bordes en el que la mitad está de un color y la otra mitad de otro. La parte superior más oscura para simular la sombra de profundidad.

Por último asignamos propiedades al texto y repetimos el proceso anterior para el lado derecho. En esta parte utilizamos.cinta span como base para poder añadir otros dos elementos nuevos: el extremo y el pliegue...

Lo más fácil es cambiar el color, pero evidentemente, cambiando los width, height, anchos de bordes y ajustando posiciones con top y left, podéis personalizar este tipo de bandas cómo queráis, aunque lo mejor es que inventéis otras cosas por vuestra cuenta.

404 en dominios personalizados Blogger – Domains – Arquitectura – Arquitectura

Aproximadamente desde el día 9 de este mes de Septiembre, muchos usuarios con plataforma Blogger y dominios personalizados están teniendo problemas de acceso a sus blogs.

Elerror 404 que sale indica que no es posible encontrar la dirección buscada y el origen del problema parece que es algún fallo en las redirecciones.

Coincidió en el tiempo con los que tuvo Go Daddy con sus servidores.Millones de sitios se vieron afectados.

Inicialmente se informó de que todo se debía aun ataque de un miembro de Anonymous, aunque posteriormente el servidor de dominios desmintió este dato.

La indisponibilidad del servicio no fue causada por agentes externos. No hemos sufrido ninguna especie de hack ni tampoco un ataque DDoS. Hemos determinado que la caída del servicio fue provocada por una serie de errores en nuestra red interna que corrompieron las tablas de encaminamiento de nuestros routers. Una vez identificamos el problema, aplicamos soluciones para corregirlo y restablecer el servicio de los clientes.

Pero sea como fuere, muchos usuarios de Blogger siguen comunicando problemas y de hecho Google ha insertado un mensaje en el apartadoBásico de la secciónConfiguración de su Escritorio avisando de que están desactivados los cambios de dominios.

El mismodía 9 Blogger ya anunció el problema en Known Issues for Blogger, explicando sólo que desactivaba esta opción, que estaban investigando el problema y que darían más detalles en breve.

Pero eldía 12 simplemente se puso un texto similar y de momento nunca más se supo.

Mal de mucho consuelo de tontos, pero en este foro de productos de Google hay ya más de 500 posts: ¿Por qué no funciona mi dominio personalizado?!!

Así que si estabas pensando en cambiar de dominio no te queda otra que esperar. Y si justo lo hiciste por esas fechas, no te queda otra que... rezar.

CSS para decolorar imágenes a escala de grises – Settlement – Car

Aplicar filtros dinámicamente mediante CSS a las imágenes de una web, es una de esas cosas que todavía no funcionan igual en todos los navegadores. Ni que decir tiene que la tarea se complica aún más cuando tenemos que contar con todas las versiones que de cada uno de ellos siguen operativas. De hecho en algunos ni funciona, pero vamos a intentar al menos que lo haga en el mayor porcentaje posible.

En este ejemplo veremos cómo cambiar imágenes a todo color por sus equivalentes en escala de grises. Esto puede servir para un efectohover en el que la imagen pase de gris a color o viceversa, pero también puede ser útil si alguien quiere mostrar por defecto todas las imágenes de su sitio en blanco y negro, evitando estar pasando siempre de manera previa por un editor.

Para este último caso, el uso de CSS permite además revertir fácilmente el estilo y volver a color de una manera muy fácil, esto es, borrando el código que veremos.

Por la diversidad de navegadores comentada, hay mucha literatura sobre cúal es el mejor código para hacer esto, así que el que publico a continuación es sólo uno más y no pretende ser el óptimo, pero sí que es el que personalmente me ha dado mejor resultado.

En un principio se trata como siempre de crear una clase nueva con ciertas propiedades, para luego aplicarla al HTML del elemento a modificar, en este caso la imagen.

Para hacer más corto el código, la segunda parte de cada estado -las líneas contransition- son prescindibles, ya que sólo hacen que el efecto sea gradual y que la transformación no sea tan brusca.

Con lo anterior en nuestra hoja de estilo, sólo tendremos que meter la imagen dentro de una capa conclass="grises" para que adopte el efecto que podréis ver posteriormente. Probad a pasar el puntero por encima del coche.

Una vez más, en Blogger podemos aprovecharnos de ese código extra que el editor de entradas nos inserta vilmente de forma automática y usar la claseseparator para que todas las imágenes tengan este efecto.

Traducción: Si en el anterior código sustituimos los dosgrises porseparator,todas las imágenes de nuestras entradas se verán en blanco y negro y cambiarán a color al hacerhover. No tendremos que añadir entonces nada extra en el HTML que genera cada imagen.

Lo mismo podremos conseguir si atacamos directamente la clase.post-body img y la correspondiente con:hover.

Bueno, realmente si hay que añadir algo más para obtener la máxima compatibilidad. Si os fijáis en el CSS, se ha incluido unfiltro SVG, por lo que se hace necesario en todos los casos (Blogger/No Blogger) añadir en nuestro HTML el siguiente código extra que genera el efecto.

En Blogger me funcionó tanto en una entrada como tras la apertura del body -siempre tras el CSS- aunque lo tuve que meter dentro de una capa de tamaño cero para que no me generara líneas en blanco indeseadas. Sin esta parte, en Firefox no me funcionaba, así que recomiendo su incorporación.
