Navidad, Navidad ¿Feliz Navidad? – Accident – Texas – Credit

Siento ser políticamente incorrecto, pero la Navidad no es lo mío... o al menos no es como para los demás.

Para mí es casi una época del año más como pudiera ser el verano o cualquier otra estación, con sus peculiaridades térmicas o climatológicas y sus actividades sociales características: jugar con la nieve, bañarse, decorar todo con adornos, tomar el sol, comer polvorones, tomarse un helado... Viene a ser casi lo mismo ¿no?

Es más, casi siempre me toca trabajar mientras la mitad del resto del mundo empieza sus vacaciones, lo cual me supone normalmente incluso más trabajo y algún que otro problema menor con la familia. Ellos y algunos amigos, libres de horarios y otros quehaceres habituales me "obligan" a estar de fiesta más de lo habitual, cuando uno lo que tiene es ganas de descansar al llegar a casa como cualquier otro día laboral común. Un peñazo, oiga.


Entre las cosas que tampoco llevo muy bien está lo de decir todo el tiempoFeliz Navidad,Felices fiestas,Mis mejores deseos,Prósperos días... Ah no, que esto es de Demolition Man... perdón. Pero bueno, tampoco soy tan antisocial y me lo tomo como el desearBuenos días cuando saludamos a alguien y casi que me sale de corazón. No hay por qué ser maleducado y si a los demás les agrada, pues oye Feliz Navidad que te crió y no se hace el feo a nadie.

¿Y qué me decís de la comida? Si es que llega Nochebuena y uno ya está harto de la cena de empresa, el aperitivo extraordinario al salir del curro, la comida con los amigos, la de los otros amigos, que si prueba este nuevo turrón que compré en el Carrefour, que si cómete estos cordiales que hemos hecho... y no te olvides de probar los rollos de anís, que este año nos han salido muy buenos.

Viandas y más viandas, para rematar con una cena que para ser cena tiene el defecto de no ser nada ligera. Bueno, más que un defecto es claramente un exceso. Y sólo estamos a mitad del maratón gastronómico, porque todavía queda la de Navidad, la del segundo día de Pascua, la de Nochevieja, la de Año Nuevo, el roscón...


Pero en fin, reconozco que la Navidad tiene además del tema espiritual (bastante extraviado por cierto) algunas cosas buenas y una de ellas es reencontrarse con gente que quieres y que quizás la distancia o simplemente una pequeña o gran dejadez, había provocado que hiciera tiempo que no vieras.

Esto es lo que me pasa a veces con vosotros, que mucho hablar de código, mucho responder en plan telegrama por premura de tiempo y en ocasiones hasta olvido saludar al principio de cada frase. Lo siento.

Sirvan pues estas fechas para remediar en lo posible al menos eso: Hola. Buenos dí... Venga no, mejor:
