Desde que Facebook lanzó su nuevo diseño de perfiles, muchos encontraron en este sistema una también nueva forma de personalizar su cabecera. Simplemente había que diseñar una imagen del tamaño adecuado (485x68px), dividirla en cinco de igual ancho (97px), etiquetarse en ellas y subirlas en orden inverso (comenzando por la que debería quedar a la derecha)
Pero como en todo hay quién ve una oportunidad de desarrollo, ya tenemos al primero.Profile Banner es una aplicación que realiza la tarea anterior de forma automática. Sólo hay que autorizarla a acceder a nuestros datos (como es costumbre) y subir una imagen personalizada. En este caso, de 658x98px y de un máximo de 2MB. La aplicación abrirá una carpeta en nuestro perfil y grabará directamente las cinco imágenes necesarias.
La aplicación también tiene una buena colección de "banners" clasificados por temas, disponibles para que no haya ni que molestarse en diseñar uno. Los mejores, estéticamente hablando, son los de fondo blanco, porque así se camuflan perfectamente las separaciones entre imágenes, con el fondo de las páginas de FB.
Es la primera APP que veo que ofrece este servicio, pero seguro que no será la última. Yo de momento me quedo conla que realicé manualmente y que refleja "mi estado" real en Facebook. Lástima que no se pueda hacer lo mismo con las páginas.
Esta aplicaciónNO ha sido desarrollada por Facebook, por lo que una vez conseguido el banner, mi recomendación es que suspendais a continuación los permisos de acceso... por si las flies.
