Mostrar datos adicionales con algo de estilo y hover – Motor – Domains – programmers

Eso del estilo va porque vamos a jugar un poco con las propiedades CSS, no porque las sugerencias que planteo como ejemplos sean una virguería estética.

Se trata de algo tan sencillo y vistoso a la vez, como hacer aparecer información adicional sobre una imagen al pasar el puntero por encima de ella. Para esto vamos a echar mano de cosas que ya hemos visto en otras ocasiones. Básicamentez-index,position yopacity.

La teoría es que montamos una caja dentro de la cual irá una imagen con enlace y dentro del mismo enlace unspan con los datos (texto). Como solaparemos esos elementos en el mismo espacio, el orden lo marcamos conz-index, de manera que el texto quede por encima de la imagen. Como inicialmente no queremos que se vea, le añadiremos también una opacidad (opacity:0;) haciéndolo inicialmente transparente (no visible).

El cambio vendrá con elhover sobre la caja principal, momento en el cual la transparencia será nula (bueno, casi) dejando ver los datos antes comentados.

En la práctica estamos hablando de algo así, pero luego lo complicaremos un poco más:

Abbey Road es una calle localizada en Westminster. Aunque hay más de 20 en Londres con el mismo nombre, la Abbey Road más conocida es la calle que corre de noroeste a sudeste a través del suburbio norte de Londres de St. John's Wood.
Es sobre todo famosa por el hecho de que los Abbey Road Studios de la EMI están localizados en el número 3, dónde muchos grandes músicos han grabado y también porque The Beatles llamaron así a uno de sus LP.
La famosa foto de la carátula del disco muestra a los cuatro miembros de la banda cruzando el paso de cebra localizado justo afuera de la entrada al estudio.

Y con esa misma estructura podemos hacer otras cosas si cambiamos un poco el estilo y en lugar de sólo texto añadimos más cosas mediante un segundospan con una nueva clase. Pasa el puntero por esta otra imagen.

En el HTML añadimos un segundospan que tendrá como fondo la imagen del disco. En este caso debe tener el fondo transparente (GIF o PNG):

Por último otra idea en la misma línea añadiendo untriangulito al rótulo, animándolo con un volteo y superponiendo una segunda imagen que aparece poco a poco. Como antes, hemos cambiado la opacidad para el efecto del rótulo, pero para el de la segunda imagen hemos jugado con unheight inicial igual a cero.

A diferencia del anterior ejemplo, aquí la imagen "móvil" no será fija como sí que era el disco, así que no podemos ponerla como fondo (background). La añadiremos también con unspan y la clase oportuna, pero con libertad de añadir la imagen que queramos desde allí.

Más en menos espacio. Secciones desplegables – Curso – Asesor – Motor

Esta puede ser una idea para ocultar zonas del blog que normalmente deberían quedar en un segundo plano y que sin embargo, además de ocupar mucho espacio, están bien visibles. Se trata simplemente de mantener ocultas esas zonas y habilitar un sistema que las despliegue con un poco dearte. Con unslideDown para entendernos en términos de jQuery.

Para cierto tipo de diseños podría dar mucho juego pero la aplicación más útil quizás sería la de habilitar una gran sección a modo de menú en la parte superior del blog con los habituales datos de contacto, botones sociales, buscador, etc. pero de manera que em un principio sólo se viera un pequeño botón a manera de lengüeta de la que tirar.

En otros casos podemos hacer como también se ve enesta demo y usar los botones para que el usuario pueda quitar de en medio alguna que otra caja más.


Ahí me he pasado un poco porque hasta las entradas se pueden plegar (botón abajo del todo), pero espero que se entienda que es sólo con fines didácticos :)

Para que funcione esto lo primero que haremos será insertar antes de/head una pequeña función JavaScript que oculta determinado bloque si está visible y a la inversa. La función debe recibir dos datos, siendo el primero la ID o clase del bloque en cuestión y el segundo el identificador del botón con el que realizaremos esa acción.

Podría haberse hecho un código más sencillo, o incluso haber desarrollado el truco sólo con CSS, pero esta manera nos da máxima compatibilidad, nos permitirá habilitar varias zonas plegables fácilmente y además nos da la opción de ir personalizando el contenido del botón según sirva paraabrir ocerrar:

A algunos ya les sonará este formato pero para los que no, esto funciona con jQuery, que es la librería que se carga en la primera línea. Si ya la tienes cargada en tu blog, esa primera línea deberías obviarla y no ponerla.

El primer dato que recibe la función (idbloque) es el identificador de la caja que contiene la zona plegable y el segundo es el del botón. Más adelante lo vemos con un ejemplo, pero sí que quiero comentar en esta parte que si no se desea cambiar el aspecto del botón, bastaría con eliminar las dos líneas con comentarios indicativos. Y si se quiere cambiar el texto o los símbolos, pues entonces sólo habría que sustituir lo marcado en verde por lo que deseéis.


Y ya podemos poner esto que viene a continuación justo detrás del cierre deldiv que queramos convertir en desplegable. Esa caja debe tener un nombre de ID o clase único, es decir que no haya otra en la plantilla con el mismo nombre. De lo contrario no funcionará bien el código porque el intérprete no sabría cual de ellos sería el que hay que abrir o cerrar.

En el ejemplo anterior,toggle1 es el nombre que le he dado al botón rojo que hará plegar/desplegar la caja, que también siguiendo el ejemplo en mi plantilla-demo tiene una clase que se llama.box. Podréis observar que esos dos datos (.box,toggle1) son los que se mandan a la funcióntoggleblock().

Si quisiéramos habilitar un segundo botón para una segunda caja habría que cambiar precisamente esos dos datos:

Este último código serviría para elcrosscol o caja que hay por defecto en Blogger entre la cabecera y el cuerpo de las entradas. Para que os hagáis una idea de dónde habría que colocarlo, en las actuales plantillas habría que situarlo dónde se indica a continuación:

Nótese que la ID o la clase tienen que llevar su correspondiente sostenido (#) o punto (.).


Y para terminar el estilo para el botón, que ese no hace daño, es lo más fácil de poner y siempre se puede modificar al gusto. Si vais a usar más de tres botones (no creo, pero bueno) sólo tenéis que añadir con comas mástoggleX.

El primero iría justo después del cierre de la sección correspondiente a la Navbar para que la caja-menú saliera justo arriba del todo como en la demo. Esto os generará tres columnas para gadgets accesibles desdeDiseño y así podréis añadir lo que queráis desde allí sin necesidad de tocar más la plantilla:

Si eres usuario de Blogger y además utilizas una plantilla específica para móviles, aquí encontrarás cómo habilitar o no los widgets para la versión de móvil, para la de escritorio o para ambas. Esto es, tú decides si cada widget se muestra o no y en qué plataforma.

Configuración del widget en Blogger

Los widgets por defecto que aparecen en la versión para móvil son:

• Header
• Blog
• Page List
• Adsense (si usas)
• Profile
• Attribution

Blogger permite un atributo con tres posibles valores para controlar si el widget se mostrará o no:mobile="no" |mobile="yes" |mobile="only"


Por ejemplo, el código por defecto para el widgetatributtion es:

Ocultar widgets

Así que si quisieras no mostrarlo sólo tienes que añadirmobile='no', quedando así:

Personaliza la plantilla móvil de Blogger

Según he podido leer en alguna página, la plantilla para las versiones móviles incluyen en su etiquetado lo siguiente:

body expr:class='"loading" + data:blog.mobileClass'

Así que asegúrate que en tu plantilla para móvil existe esta expresión en el tagbody para que lo siguiente te funcione.

En caso de que exista puedes estilizar de forma selectiva cualquier parte de tu blog. Sólo tienes que tener unos conocimientos mínimos de Css y añadir la clase.mobile al selector que te interese.

Por ejemplo, si tienes definido la tipografía de tush1 de una manera concreta:

font: 2rem/1.5 nunito, sans-serif;

}

Para estilizarlo a tu gusto en la versión para móvil sólo tendías que añadir la clase.mobile en esa regla y declarar a tu gusto

Mensaje del formulario para comentarios anidados siempre visible – dinero – Settlement – Auto

Junto con los nuevos comentarios anidados surgieron un buen número de problemas menores -algunos mayores- que más o menos se fueron solucionando. Sin embargo no había encontrado la manera de que el mensaje que se puede programar desde el escritorio para que acompañe al formulario de entrada, se viera también en la cabecera de este cuando se trataba de una respuesta. Siempre permanecía abajo del todo perdiendo su efecto informativo.

Hubiera sido fácil arreglarlo con CSS si uniframe admitiera añadirle uncontent mediante:before, pero un marco de ese tipo es muy puñetero y yo al menos no encontré la manera. Principalmente porque según he leído:after y:before se sitúan dentro del elemento principal y, en un principio, en uniframe no se puede escribir nada.

Así las cosas pensé en hacer algo con JavaScript, pero mientras me peleaba con jQuery encontré un sistema enDuypham (blog vietnamita para más señas), que simplemente cambiaba un poco el script de Blogger que genera los comentarios y conseguía un resultado más que bueno. Con él el mensaje siempre aparece arriba del formulario sea dónde fuere que se encuentre este.

Ahora que parece que el sistema es estable y que terminaron los cambios, sí que me atrevo a cambiar cosas de ese JavaScript, así que vamos a ver lo que hay que hacer. Sólo necesitamos dos breves pasos.


1El primero comienza localizando esta línea en nuestra plantilla (con artilugios expandidos). Sólo hay una línea como esta así que supongo la encontraréis sin problemas.

b:includable id='threaded-comment-form' var='post'

Pues bien, ese es el principio de un includable o rutina de Blogger que hace una tarea y a la que se puede recurrir usando un include (esto es sólo cultura general).

La rutina completa es la que viene a continuación y en ella hay que insertar las dos líneas marcadas en verde y que son la apertura y cierre de undiv con unaid='mensajeform' (podéis usar cualquier otro nombre). Esto no causa ningún efecto en el blog, pero si os equivocáis de lugar o metéis algún carácter de más o de menos, obtendréis un bonito error BX o algo peor, así que ya sabéis aquello de "Guarde una copia de seguridad de su plantilla antes de empezar con los experimentos".

2Ahora viene lo de modificar el script original de Blogger, pero también se trata de una sustitución muy sencilla. En este caso localizamos la línea...

document.getElementById(domId).insertBefore(replybox,null);

...y esereplybox se cambia por undocument.getElementById ('mensajeform'). Sin más, para que quede así:

document.getElementById(domId).insertBefore(document.getElementById ('mensajeform'),null);

Pues ya está todo. El mensaje que hayamos grabadoperseguirá al formulario y se mostrará encima de dónde este vaya apareciendo. Podéis hacer la prueba ahora mismo en esta u otra entrada del blog porque instalé este sistema hace unos días.

Como efecto secundario pero beneficioso, ahora podremos darle estilo fácilmente al mensaje. Para ello sólo tenemos que añadir a la parte CSS de nuestra plantilla la clase#mensajeform con las propiedades que gustéis. Por ejemplo:

Actualización: Gracias a un pequeño debate con Valentin y Svalin en los comentarios, descubrimos que en las entradas sin comentarios el estilo no salía como en las que sí los tenían. Para que todo funcione igual hay que añadir un segundo selector que ya aparece en el código a continuación (.comment-form).

Además, también surgió una idea sencilla para mostrar una imagen que podemos diseñar al gusto y que consiste simplemente en sustituir elbackground: white; por unbackground: url(IMAGEN_FONDO);.

Siguiendo con las cosas fáciles e incluyendo una que algunos pedís más que un taxi en un desierto, hoy un simple CSS que cambia el estilo que viene de serie con los comentarios anidados de una plantilla estándar Blogger.

Con él los comentarios se quedarán como podéis ver enesta demo, aunque en realidad es el mismo estilo que actualmente utilizo en este mismo blog.

Como veis lo único que hacemos es ponerle un fondo distinto a lo que es el cuerpo principal del comentario, añadir un borde, esquinas redondeadas y añadirle un triángulo que realmente es una entidad HTML. EnNice Entity tenéis una útil guía organizada por pestañas según temática con este tipo de caracteres por si alguna vez la necesitáis.

Para usarlos encontent tenéis que echar mano de la columna UNICODE. Aquí he usado el 25C4 (con una barra de escape) que aislado se vería como sigue ◄. Como realmente el navegador lo trata como "letra", se puede cambiar de tamaño y color confont-size ycolor sin ninguna dificultad añadida.


La segunda mitad del código lo que hace es mostrar los avatares en forma de círculo, ni más ni menos.
