Menú horizontal desplegable (dropdown). Código básico – Free – Register

Pues el título es autoexplicativo.

Lo que veremos hoy será el esqueleto o código básico que se necesita para hacer un menú tipodropdown, o dicho en cristiano común, un menú cuyos elementos despliegan sus diferentes opciones en vertical hacia abajo cuando se hacehover sobre ellos.

El objeto de contar con este código es poder construir posteriormente cualquier otro con esta misma estructura aplicando sólo variaciones de estilo en el lugar adecuado.

Como esto no tiene demasiado ciencia, vamos a hacer válido un antiguo dicho callándonos a partir de aquí. Y es queun código vale más que mil palabras y mucho más si está comentado.

Primero la demo, posteriormente el HTML para construir la lista y por último el CSS necesario.

Blogger, Mundo Google

Blogger habilita la conexión directa con Google+ – Lincoln – Forex

La versión hispana de Blogger Buzz ni lo menciona, perola inglesa publica hoy esta novedad con el título "Socializa y haz crecer tu blog con Google+"... o algo así.

El asunto es que un nuevo apartado en el escritorio Blogger, nos permite ahora conectar fácilmente nuestro blog con nuestro perfil personal o cualquier página creada por nosotros en Google+. Sólo con uno de ellos, por cierto.

EntreComentarios yEstadísticas encontraréis dicha opción y si ya habéis realizado la conexión por otros métodos (insignia/enlace en perfil G+), directamente os aparecerá la asociación oportuna.

La casilla de verificación en la parte inferior del todo, es la que ahora nos permitirá compartir en G+ los posts publicados en el blog. Pero esto sigue sin ser automático del todo; sólo cuando pinchéis enPublicar en un post sin programar, una ventana emergente hará las veces delCompartir del botón +1. Opcional por tanto difundirlo a través de esa red o no aunque se seleccione esa opción.

Como ocurre con cualquier red social, exponer tu contenido ante tus seguidores facilita el marcaje de +1 sobre los artículos que más gusten y por tanto ayuda a promocionarlos.

No hay que olvidar tampoco que ahora Google tiene en cuenta los +1 en sus resultados de búsqueda y que esas páginas votadas salen con prioridad a los usuarios conectados contigo. Además, parece que ya está del todo operativo la firma de artículos que es esa anotación que aparece ahora bajo la dirección de la página y que incluye la fotografía de perfil de G+, pero para ello es imprescindible la conexión comentada.

Buzz hace un poco más de propaganda sobre su nuevo juguetito y añade en su entrada que esto nos permitiráconstruir lazos más estrechos y duraderos con nuestros lectores.

Tierno, bonito, pero parece que lo más práctico está aún por venir, ya que también anuncian la incorporación en el futuro próximo de más opciones dentro de ese apartado¿Permanecemos atentos o será más propaganda?

Menú gráfico con efecto zoom – School – cancer

Esta sería una de las muchas maneras con las que podemos construir un menú con imágenes que lleva incorporado un efecto zoom (fish eye, ojo de pez).

Los distintos elementos se dispondrán en una lista que contendrá las distintas imágenes y sus respectivos enlaces. Dentro de cada enlace incluiremos de manera adicional unspan con un pequeño texto que acompañará a cada uno de ellos.

En este caso el texto permanecerá inicialmente oculto y al hacerhover en cualquiera de las miniaturas, será cuando estas se agranden hasta su tamaño original y simultáneamente aparece el texto en su base. Se supone que este texto será el alusivo al destino, pero puede ser utilizado para cualquier otro fin.

El resultado sería algo como esto:

Para conseguirlo habrá que generar algo de CSS a incluir en nuestra plantilla (entre las etiquetasSKIN en el caso de Blogger) y un HTML con determinada estructura.

Efecto banda plegada doble. Método fácil para gadgets – Car

Hace unos días vimos como simular en los títulos de los posts un efecto que los convertía en unabanda solapada con un extremo plegado hacia atrás.

Alguien preguntó cómo hacer esto para los títulos de los gadgets y ya que estos suelen tener un ancho menor que el de la columna de entradas, se me ocurrió que podríamos añadir el otro extremo haciendo una pequeña variación y que así se vieran ambos.

El resultado está en la captura de la derecha que corresponde aesta demo.

A diferencia del anteriormente visto, ahora usaremos otro método para no tener que tocar la parte HTML y que consistirá en usar:after y:before para insertar los triángulos terminales.

La clase que controla los gadgets de la barra lateral en las plantillas estándar es.sidebar .widget y los rótulos de los títulos además aparecen con encabezamientoh2, así que esta será la clase que usaremos:.sidebar .widget h2

Si tenéis una plantilla que use otro nombre para la clase de los gadgets, tendréis que obtenerla echando un vistazo a vuestro HTML.

Como veréis, el código sólo crea un fondo para el rótulo, lo hace de un ancho mayor que la columna del gadget (106%) y lo desplaza a la izquierda con unmargin-left negativo.

Conbefore yafter completamos el asunto añadiendo respectivamente a cada extremo un triángulo y posicionándolo conabsolute.

Nota: La caja contenedora, en este caso.sidebar, no debe tener unoverflow: hidden o el efecto quedará oculto al desbordar la misma. En su caso quitar esa propiedad CSS si no es imprescindible.

Y si quieres el mismo efecto pero sencillo, con un solo triángulo, en estaotra entrada tienes otro método.
